AmeriPride Women in Finance Award

 Top Women in Finance

 Kathy Jennings AmeriPride Women in Finance Award       Kathy Jennings, Operations Controller for AmeriPride, was named to the Finance & Commerce ‘Top Women in Finance’ List in 2012! The award recognizes outstanding efforts of women who are making notable contributions to their professions, their communities and society at large. The women were honored at a special reception and dinner with other recipients of the award. Kathy was joined on the list by other female leaders from companies such as Wells Fargo, US Bank, Medica, Weber Shandwick, Merrill Lynch, General Mills, Salo and Crave Restaurant Holdings.
 
At AmeriPride, Kathy’s responsibilities include accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting and payroll. Dan Lagermeier, CFO for AmeriPride reports, “she has been a key contributor to the centralization of our processes and the establishment of the National AR Centers in the U.S. and Canada. Her efforts to standardize and streamline will lead to efficiencies and support our future growth”.
 
We congratulate Kathy on her recent award and her many accomplishments in propelling AmeriPride forward through our accounting operations. 

    

Twin Cities Business

2011 Minnesota Family Business Award

AmeriPride is a recipient of the Twin Cities Business 2011 Minnesota Family Business Award. This honor is awarded to five outstanding family-owned Minnesota businesses each year that epitomize the highest standards of success, family involvement, community service and family business structure. The 2011 committee chose AmeriPride Services as the top company representing the award's values within the 'Legacy' category. Bruce Steiner, former CEO and current Chairman of the Board of Directors, accepted the award on the company's behalf.

The Steiner family pioneered the industry and their core family values have sustained the company for more than 120 years. In addition, our commitment to the customer, personalized service, innovation and automation have helped the company to thrive for many generations.

TRSA Operator Lifetime Achievement Award

Each year, the Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA) honors a select group of individuals for their involvement within the industry. Lawrence "Larry" Steiner, a member of the founding family and the current AmeriPride Board of Directors, was recently recognized for his many achievements at AmeriPride Services and his lifetime commitment to the industry. We thank him for his ongoing dedication and congratulate him for this most recent honor.

The TRSA Operator Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor that can be attained by a professional in our industry. The award recognizes exceptional personal service to both the textile services industry and TRSA. Candidates are nominated by their operator peers and are ultimately selected by the TRSA Executive Committee.

Congratulations to Larry Steiner for receiving this award, honoring his highly successful career at AmeriPride. We are privileged to have a person such as Larry serve our company during his lengthy career. He has played an integral role in the ongoing success of AmeriPride Services!

Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal Award

CIO of the Year

 Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal CIO of the Year   In its inaugural year of awards recognition, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has announced the honorees for the CIO of the Year Award. Joe Jansen, Director of Information Systems at AmeriPride, is among the 2011 recipients. Honorees include CIOs and CTOs at firms ranking from small companies to global corporations. Judges from the Twin Cities tech community selected the 2011 honorees.

 "Joe has been with AmeriPride since November 2005 and manages information services for the entire company, including service desk support and branch technology solutions", said Bill Evans, CEO at AmeriPride. "Under his leadership, the department has recently completed the upgrade and overhaul of the Corporate Data Center and many other system upgrades. Joe plays an important role in making sure our company stays competitive through innovation and automation in each of our production facilities and service centers.”

Joe joins a select group of honorees from smaller companies to global corporations like Medtronic and Alliant Techsystems that were chosen by a panel of judges from the Twin Cities tech community.
