Why did you change your company name?

AmeriPride operated as American Linen Supply Co. for over 100 years. During this time we grew from a single push cart in Lincoln, Nebraska to a multi-national uniforms rental service and linen supply company. During those years of growth, American Linen expanded into new markets where we could not use the traditional company name. The result — we were operating with nine different names.

In order for our customers and prospects to understand our national scope and to create a consistent national brand, we chose a name that reflected our heritage and our pride — AmeriPride. We also added "Uniform Service" to our brand to communicate our full range of services.

Does AmeriPride sell directly in addition to renting?
